Built around the idea that functional products can still feel expressive, Buttr Form has carved out a distinct place within the growing world of Pilates accessories through its playful, design-forward grip socks. As the brand prepared to transition from Squarespace to Shopify, Isla Luna Studio was brought in to refine the digital experience and develop a more cohesive visual direction that matched the energy of the products themselves. The result was an e-commerce identity that feels bright, polished, and editorial — balancing performance, personality, and a stronger sense of brand recognition.

Buttr Form came to Isla Luna Studio with a clear need: a new website, built on Shopify. They had been operating on Squarespace, and while it had served them early on, they knew that to grow as a serious e-commerce business they needed a platform built for it. Shopify wasn't just a technical upgrade; it was a signal of where the brand was headed.
Beyond the platform migration, there was a bigger opportunity. Buttr Form had a strong logo and a loyal community, but their visual world hadn't fully caught up to the brand they were becoming. Their product photography needed a creative direction that could match the fun, editorial energy of the brand and give their marketing efforts the fuel they needed to grow.
As they put it themselves: they were in desperate need of a Shopify website and help with creative direction on their product photography. Isla Luna Studio was ready to deliver both.

Isla Luna Studio came on board to build the brand system around the logo Buttr Form already loved, and bring it fully to life online and in imagery. We developed a cohesive design system for the new Shopify website, led the UX and UI design, handled brand strategy and copywriting, and implemented basic SEO to set the site up for discovery.
We also took on full art direction for a brand equity photoshoot at a local Pilates studio — complete with models and custom sets styled for each sock design. Every frame was built to communicate what Buttr Form is at its core: happy, effortless, energetic, and just a little bit editorial.

Buttr Form's creative direction lives at the intersection of fun and intention. The brand is friendly and confident, positive and empowering — the kind of energy that makes you want to show up to your reformer class in a great mood. Visually, the direction leaned into a playful, nostalgic aesthetic with enough editorial polish to feel elevated rather than simply cute.
The photoshoot was central to this. Shooting on location at a Pilates studio with styled sets for each sock style meant every product had its own moment — its own mood, its own context, its own reason to stop the scroll. The result was a gallery of images that gave Buttr Form's marketing a genuine identity, not just product shots on a white background.
Typography and copy followed the same spirit: concise, intentional, and full of personality. The kind of brand voice that sounds like a friend who also happens to know exactly what she's talking about.

The new Shopify website gave Buttr Form the foundation a growing e-commerce brand needs in the fashion and wellness industries. Built with conversion and clarity in mind, the site showcases the product line in a way that's as visually compelling as it is easy to shop — letting the photography do the heavy lifting while the UX guides customers seamlessly from discovery to checkout.
The site migration from Squarespace to Shopify wasn't just a backend upgrade. It was a statement of intent, and the new site delivered on it. Following launch, Buttr Form saw a boost in social media growth and an influx of email inquiries from brands seeking collaborations and partnerships. The elevated brand presence opened doors that the previous site simply couldn't.
